MHFA Training UK is not a large training company with multiple instructors and sales teams behind the scenes. It is simply one person — me, Andy Graham delivering high-quality Mental Health First Aid training with genuine passion, experience, and understanding.
I have been an approved Mental Health First Aid instructor with MHFA England since 2015 and, over the past 11 years, I have successfully trained and supported more than 2,000 Mental Health First Aiders across a wide range of organisations within the private, public, and education sectors.
Mental health is not just a profession to me, it is deeply personal.
I understand what it feels like to struggle with your mental health while not knowing who you can safely turn to for support. I have been living with Complex PTSD and Depression since 1988 as a result of my previous career in the Fire Service, and I am also a suicide survivor.
Those lived experiences are a huge part of why I became so passionate about Mental Health First Aid training.
My aim has always been simple:
👉 To help create workplaces, communities, and organisations where people feel more confident to support one another and where nobody feels they have to struggle alone.
While MHFA England provides the excellent framework and accreditation behind the courses, what I bring is something much more personal, honesty, empathy, real-world experience, and ongoing support long after the training has finished.
Over the years I have had the privilege of working with organisations of all sizes, helping thousands of people gain the confidence to start supportive conversations around mental health and wellbeing.
For me, this work has never simply been about delivering a course.
It has always been about helping people feel heard, understood, and supported.
At MHFA Training UK, I provide a comprehensive suite of MHFA England accredited Mental Health First Aid training courses designed to help organisations build confidence, understanding, and supportive workplace cultures around mental health.
All training is delivered personally by me, Andy Graham, combining accredited MHFA England content with real-world experience, empathy, and ongoing support.

To ensure delegates receive a high level of interaction, support, and pastoral care:
This approach allows me to create a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment where delegates feel comfortable discussing what can sometimes be sensitive and emotional subjects.
Mental Health First Aid training is most effective when it forms part of a wider commitment to workplace wellbeing.
Alongside training delivery, I also provide consultation services to help organisations integrate MHFA effectively into their:
Importantly, my support does not end when the course finishes.
I continue to provide ongoing support to the Mental Health First Aiders who train with me, offering guidance and reassurance when they need it most as they carry out this important role within their organisations and communities.

In today’s world, many mental health campaigns focus on one simple message: “It’s good to talk.
And it is.
But talking is only possible when we know someone is truly there to listen without judgement, without interruption, and without trying to fix everything.
That’s where our mission begins.
“On A Mission To Listen” is about shifting the focus. Instead of only encouraging people to speak up, we are encouraging more people to step forward and say:
👉 “I’m here. I will listen.”
Because sometimes the most powerful thing we can offer someone isn’t advice… It’s our time, our presence, and our willingness to hear them.
When we are struggling with our mental health, it’s easy to feel isolated. It can feel like nobody understands… or that nobody is there.
But the truth is:
You are not alone.
There are people around you, in your workplace, your community, your friendships who care more than you might realise.
Sometimes we just need to look a little closer, or take a small step toward them.
Mental health does not discriminate. We all experience challenges from time to time regardless of our background, our role, or how things may appear on the outside.
This campaign is about creating a culture where:
Our clothing is more than just a design, it’s a statement, a signal, a quiet way of saying:
👉 “I’m on a mission to listen.”
👉 “You are not alone.”
